Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has dismissed claims of dating flamboyant city pastor Reverend Lucy Natasha, and socialite Zari Hassan.
In an Instagram post, Sonko noted that politicians go through a lot of things in life, but he did not explain further.
"I swear to God politicians have problems at one point it was Rev Lucy Natasha another time it was Zari. (Haki ya Mungu Wanasiasa tuko na shida mara @revlucynatasha mara @zarithebosslady)," he said.
Sonko was reacting to Rev Natasha's interview during Upclose show on K24 TV hosted by Betty Kyallo.
During the interview, Betty asked Reverend Natasha to clear the air on rumors that she was dating Sonko.
Responding to the allegations, the flamboyant pastor noted that she was not dating the governor, adding that the claims were just fabrications.
"Actually the pictures that were going around are actually pictures that we took with the current while he was a senator in his own office. They are professional pictures and people sometimes they will read into things the way they want to. But in actual facts the governor is very God fearing and my connection with him is very spiritual. He is somebody I have prayed with many times, several times. I have prayed with him concerning various issues,” she said.
