ODM Kibra parliamentary hopeful Bernard Imran Okoth has condoled with the family of Nick Odhiambo who passed on after falling off from a campaign vehicle.
In a post on his Facebook page, Imran said the accident happened along Ring-Road Kilimani, and involved a vehicle from ODM's rally in DC grounds, Kibra.
He said the deceased was a 'brilliant' mind and a 'jovial' soul who fanatically supported the activities of ODM party.
"Until his demise, Nick was a gallant supporter of the ODM party, a brilliant mind and a jovial soul who was actively involved in party activities in and outside of Kibra constituency," Imran's message read in part.
Imran divulged that his team and the party had reached out to the family, adding that they would update the public on burial preparations.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during these hard moments and as a team, we will ensure that our comrade receives a befitting send off. We are already in contact with his family and in due time we shall inform the public on the program of activities," he noted.
Imran will be battling against Jubilee party's McDonald Mariga, ANC's Eliud Owalo, Ford Kenya's Khamisi Butichi among others.
