Renowned radio host and MC Shaffie Weru is a self-described shoe lover.
His shoe game is legendary.
When he featured in the latest episode of 'Upclose' on K24 hosted by renowned television journalist Betty Kyalo, he displayed his dizzying array of shoes.
The favourite pair among the many shoes that he has are the iconic Bugatti Boots.
According to Shaffie, the high-end footwear cost him around 350 US Dollars which translates to 35,000 Kenya shillings, an amount that could very well mean somebody's monthly salary.
"I just love shoes. My favourite shoes are my, these are my Bugatti boots. These are real Bugatti boots. Hizi very few people have them. These one cost me about 350 dollars," Shaffie says.
Apart from the Bugatti boots, the renowned radio show host also owns Jordan sneakers that cost him 200 US Dollars which translates to 20,000 Kenya shillings.
Shaffie revealed that he loves collecting shoes, and narrated an incident in which thieves broke into his house and stole all his shoes and only left the Jordan shoes.
The pairs of shows are divided into two categories: He has the weekday shoes and the weekend shoes which are seperated from each other and occupy different rooms.
