Bahati Member of Parliament Onesmus Kimani Ngunjiri on Monday recorded statement with DCI Nakuru over his last week's sentiments on wrangles within Jubilee Party.
The MP who addressed media on Monday immediately after recording the statement at DCI offices in Nakuru admitted the same.
He stated that he was questioned on his sentiments that Deputy President William Ruto had been locked out of his house in Mombasa.
He says he was shocked to be summoned by DCI yet he had only spoken what was in public domain after the information was published in one of the local dailies.
The Legislator adding that he has been asked to surrender his firearm.
Ngunjiri has termed the move as uncalled for adding that he has never misused his firearm since 1992.
He was however quick to state that his association and support for Deputy President William Ruto is the reason for the intimidation.
He, however, called on the Jubilee administration to stop intimidating and showing disrespect to DP who played a key role in ensuring the win for Jubilee government.
"I can confirm that I have recorded statement with DCI questioning me where I got the information on DP's ouster from his house in Mombasa. They have also ordered the withdrawal of my firearms" said Ngunjiri.
The MP stating that he is ready to carry the cross for speaking the truth.
According to Ngunjiri, the country is headed in the wrong direction due to the heated debate on BBI.
While citing the recent Bukhungu meeting on BBI, the MP says it seemed to divide Kenyans rather than unite them.
"Whatever we are seeing is that the BBI seems to divide Kenyans already Western is divided," he said.
Ngunjiri urged President Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto to ensure a united Kenya.
He says the BBI should not be forced to Kenyans but the citizens should be allowed to make their decision.
The MP warned a section of politicians trying to cause division in Rift Valley region.
He revealed that a major meeting will be held in Nakuru to preach peace and co-existence among the tribes in the region.
