The 4th Edition of Naivasha's Lakeview Ward MCA Karanja Mburu Tournament has kicked.

According to the youthful first term serving Nakuru MCA, the tournament is aimed at nurturing the youths.

He added that he will be pushing for more allocation towards sports kitty.

This, according to the vocal Nakuru MCA will help address the challenges that youths of his Lakeview Ward in Naivasha are facing.

"We believe in nurturing talents and that is the reason we have this tournament and we shall push through the assembly to have more allocation towards sports," said MCA Karanja.

During the tournament, the teams will also be sensitized on matters drugs and substance abuse in society.

This weekend 15th December 2019 at 9 am Superstars will play against Galaxy while Pipeline will faceoff with Golf1 at 10.30 am.

At 2 pm Kihoto FC will play against  Worriors FC and later at 1.30 pm, Maspa FC will face off  Naivasha United FC.

At 3 pm there shall be semi-final one followed by semi-final two at 4.30 pm.

Finals for the tournament will be held at Kihoto on Sunday.

Ladies are not left out as on Sunday 9 am Kihoto ladies will face Kayole ladies.

At 10 am Maai Mahiu (Maspa) will face carpenters.

Kihoto youth FC will faceoff Super rangers while at 3 pm Pipeline FC will play Naivasha United.

At 4 pm Champions league will see Kihoto youth FC play against Superstars (Kayole)
