This comes at a time when Sonko, now the governor, is facing possible impeachment and numerous court cases over allegations of involvement in graft and theft of public monies.

The analyst says that the controversial county chief was not qualified for the ticket, and might have played some games to clinch it before proceeding to win the main race.

"I don't think Sonko was the preferred candidate for Jubilee but he played his cards smartly," he said in an interview on K24, on Monday morning.

On Sonko's ouster attempt, he said that it's very possible and is not a tall order as it might seem and only needs political will and a daring person who will introduce the motion.

"It is possible to impeach Sonko but it needs political will and the big question is who will introduce the motion," he added.
