Writing on Twitter on Tuesday the governing Jubilee party legislator called out the Chief Justice David Maraga-led apex court for allegedly dragging its feet on the impasse.

Murkomen noted that the United Kingdom Supreme Court took just five days to weigh in on the prorogation debate while the Kenyan Supreme Court has not yet delivered a decision on the shareable impasse 2 months down the line.

"The UK Supreme Court decision on the question whether PM was right to advice the Queen to prorogue parliament was heard&delivered in 5days. Our SCOK is yet to make any progress on the Division of Revenue case more than 2 months down the line @ahmednasirlaw, " the tweet read.

The Kenyan Supreme Court is yet to deliver a ruling, calling instead on the National Assembly and the Senate to reach an accommodation on the shareable revenue issue.

Members of a committee drawn from the Senate and the National Assembly have repeatedly failed to reach a compromise solution on the important issue of how the two levels of government can share revenue.

Governors took the matter to the Supreme Court seeking the apex court's intervention in the standoff.
