Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi believes nominated MP Maina Kamanda is victimising Deputy President William Ruto for no apparent reasons.
The former Starehe MP has been leading campaigns against the DP, a move that threatens to cripple Jubilee party's chances in 2022 polls.
In an interview with the media on Monday, Sudi demanded that Kamanda faces Ruto in Karen or Nairobi's Harambee House Annex over any debt he could be owed.
According to him, Kamanda is keen to distabilise peaceful coexistence among Kalenjins and Kikuyus who stay in Rift Valley, a plot which he says will flop.
"If there is any Kikuyu who has a title deed and lost his land, let him or her come to me. Kamanda thinks he will live forever. If Ruto stole anything from him, let him go to Karen or Nairobi and pick it. We can't allow him to cause hatred and incitement," he said.
Over the weekend, Kamanda dismissed Dr Ruto as a land grabber, accusing him of being linked to controversial acquisition of former VP Joseph Murumbi's land.
"We cannot allow him to distabilise Nairobi. I never used to collect rent in my Mathare apartments but now I can. The people of Kibra are not fools to allow Ruto impose Mariga on them," he said.
"He has converted his Karen home to an hotel, ensure you take the money he gives. Ask him to give even Sh5,000. He has stolen a lot even from the dead people. You read newspapers on how he's taking old people's land," he said.
In a tweet recently, Dr Ruto dismissed the story in one of the local dailies as fake, even though he did not give his side of the story on the controversial acquisition of the land.
"The now persistent, obviously sponsored FAKE NEWS by hired bankrupt media that finds it difficult to make a sale without the name Ruto. Bure kabisa. Riswa!" The DP tweeted.
