Deputy President William Ruto has been cautioned against opposing proposed constitutional amendments, arguing that he will be humiliated.
The DP has been linked to a plot to oppose the impending referendum, with his allies insisting that the move is only meant to expand the executive at the expense of people.
In the last few months, Dr Ruto has been in a quagmire, struggling to decide whether or not to support the constitutional amendments.
In an interview on Sunday, the ODM treasurer said Kenya must support the amendments for the sake of minimising post election violence and disputes.
"He (Ruto) is dragging us back. If at all he has Kenya at his heart, he should support the President and ODM leader Raila Odinga," said Bosire.
"The two agreed to end tribal animosity. Amendments to the constitution is quite necessary. If he opposes, he will lose badly," he added.
The former Kitutu Masaba MP asked Nyamira residents to turn out in large numbers for the ongoing census exercise, which is set to end on 31st August.
He said that the exercise will enable the government to plan well for resource distribution, adding that the figure will also assist Nyamira people.
"I urge all residents of Nyamira to turn up for census. I have undertaken it at my home. Hopefully, we shall have more people turning up," he said.
