AK President Lit General (Rtd) Jackson Tuwei says; "We are not aware of any athlete injected by EPO or any substance."

In response to allegations by Mr Markus Harm, that Kenyan athletes were engaging in massive doping, AK dared him to prove his claims and enable it to take action against the accused.

In a statement to newsrooms, Monday night, the country's athletics body further challenged Mr Harm to furnish the evidence to the Athletic Integrity Unit if he cannot trust them.

Tuwei noted that no such information or evidence had furnished to AIU or any authority and urged that "Any responsibility media or person with such information is obliged to report such case and help with fight against doping. Without any information or evidence, AK cannot confirm or deny such allegations spread by the media."

He noted that both Athletics Kenya and the government does not condone doping activities and that with the help of ADAK and AIU, the culprits or any doctor trying to taint the name of AK and its athletes will be caught.

"It is sad that these allegations are coming at a time Kenya is taking part in the world championship and we can read this ill intention to embarrass AK and Kenya athletes at no good cause," Tuwei who is currently in Doha said in the statement.

He noted that claims of AK covering up positive doping tests from the athletes and altering test results was ridiculous and lies.
