Soy MP Caleb Kositany has ridiculed ODM leader Raila Odinga after a section of people who had attended Bukhungu BBI rally walked out when Odinga started speaking.
In a tweet on Sunday morning, Kositany noted that people decided to leave when the former prime minister rose to speak because he had no ideas to discuss.
"People will walk out of your meeting when you lack content," noted Kositany.
On Saturday, Odinga who was among the leaders attending the BBI meeting in Kakamega, was the last to speak.
The lawmaker who is also a close ally to the Deputy President William Ruto shared a video in his official Twitter account in which some attendees of the event were seen leaving the venue when the ODM leader was speaking.
Key Western Kenya leaders including Central Organization of Trade Uniouns (COTU) Secretary-General Francis Atwoli, Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula attended the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI) function.
Other leaders who attended the event include Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru and her Kitui counterpart Charity Ngilu, Homa Bay Women Representative Gladys Wanga, Devolution CS Eugene Wamalwa, Senate Minority leader James Orengo and Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala.
The function sought to gather views from Kenyans on the BBI report before it is implemented.
