Former Presidential candidate Abuduba Dida has said that Deputy President William Ruto's team has no agenda before 2022. I
In a tweet, Dida said that Ruto's camp only wants to rise to power because President Uhuru Kenyatta promised to endorse him for the top seat once he leaves the office.
Dida, who has been one of the fierce critics of the Jubilee regime, said that it is evident that the second in command has no good plans for the Kenyans. He retorted that Kenyans will have no reason to elect them because they lack proper plans.
"I've noticed that the DP Ruto's team is desperately clinging on President Kenyatta. The whole of the DPs campaign is based on "tumetoka mbali", "we had an MoU" and "Jubilee is intact". These people have nothing else to offer Kenyans. NO PLANS AT ALL," he tweeted.
The remarks of the politician come a day after President Kenyatta dismissed claims that he intends to form an alliance with Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Amolo Odinga before 2022.
The head of state said that he decided to work with Raila for the sake of peaceful co-existence among Kenyans and nothing else. He also urged the leaders from the region to support the BBI report.
