With President Uhuru Kenyatta keen with the process, he has already asked Odinga to spearhead field campaigns while Uhuru will facilitate the process.

To ensure logistical support, Uhuru has deployed Interior Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i to run the process.

Already, Raila and his team have visited Kisii and Kakamega, bringing together Nyanza and Western Kenya regions.

On Saturday, the BBI campaign team moves to Mombasa before moving to Embu/Meru on February 2.

On February 7, the BBI will hold a consultative forum at Wote in Ukambani region before moving to Garissa on February 9.

Eldoret will host the team on Feb 16th and a day later, the team shall camp at Suswa in Narok County.

Kiambu region will hold the forums on February 25th, a day before Nairobi holds the final rallies. Raila will grace all the functions.

A section of ODM leaders led by Gladys Wanga and Junet Mohamed says the BBI process should be dispensed by August given that it's a political process.

“We will be moving to August 7 which will be exactly two years to the polls. We need to complete the BBI process in time so that Kenyans can decide by July,” said Wanga.

“We need to have a referendum at the earliest possible time so that Kenyans can decide what they want and move on with their lives,” said Junet.

This comes after a section of DP William Ruto's supporters said they will join the campaigns by ODM leader this coming Saturday in Mombasa.
