Kenyan musician Akothee celebrated her three daughters on Sunday in an emotional message that she shared on her Instagram page.
Akothee who has always been known for being close with her daughters claimed it was wonderful to have them as friends and companions.
She appreciated them for not only being disciplined but also bringing happiness into her life.
The singer also created a comparison between her and the three daughters citing that at their age, she had already ashamed her mother by being pregnant.
She narrated emotionally on how her mother had become a laughing stock as a result of her pregnancy and vowed to love and protect her daughters at all costs.
"What a wonderful grow up as friends companion and agemates ! Thank you soo much for being disciplined children and giving me an easy time! thank you for the jokes and happiness in our family! At your age I was already a mother! I ashamed my mother terribly both in church and at home! Her agemates laughed at her which has not happened to me," Akothee wrote on Instagram.
The artist's style of motherhood has always been viewed as different especially the level of the closeness between her and the daughters.
The mother of five is popular for her pride and passion for motherhood.
