Ndaragua lawmaker Jeremiah Kioni has predicted a bright future for Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi, with regards to his presidential quest.
Speaking on K24 on Wednesday, Kioni who was Mudavadi's running mate in the 2013 polls, observed that the former Vice President will ultimately realize his presidential bid.
However, he said that he is not in any position to predict the actual time when Mudavadi, who has declared his for the 2022 polls, will take over the leadership of the country.
"Musalia Mudavadi is a president we will have one day when I don’t know!" said the leader, who currently appears in support of Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 candidature.
On the 2018 truce between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM boss Raila Odinga, he termed the handshake a historical sign, though it might not enjoy the approval of everybody.
He said that this will be facilitated by the emergence of ideologies like the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI), which seeks to spend the constitution to better the country.
"It doesn’t matter what you want to think about the handshake but from that, we have the BBI and all the other stories will remain in the books of history," he added.
In the 2013 race, the Mudavadi-Kioni emerged a distant third after the President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila.
