In an interview on Friday, the former Kitutu Masaba MP warned that Dr Ruto's presidency could further wretch the country economically after Uhuru's exit.

According to him, 'Ruto and corruption' are conjoined twins, adding that politicians surrounding him have inherited his antics in the graft fight.

Bosire, who was cleared by a Nairobi court on Thursday in an incitement case, asked Kenyans of good will to continue giving President Uhuru Kenyatta moral support.

"There is evidence that Ruto and corruption are conjoined twins. He defends everything wrong despite overwhelming evidence against the vice," he said.

"For President Uhuru Kenyatta to survive this war, Kenyans of good will should support him. Ruto and his team are biggest threat in the graft purge," added Bosire.

The ODM treasurer lauded Uhuru for cancellation of Kimwarer project in Elgeyo-Marakwet County, adding that it was eclipsed with controversy from the beginning.

"Uhuru did the right thing. We had raised issues about the dam. LBDA also said part of the money for Kimwarer were meant for Magwagwa multi-purpose dam. Ruto diverted it."

A technical committee on Wednesday advised Uhuru to cancel the project. Among others, the committee also established that the cost was inflated.
