The Garissa based team found themselves two goals down to Mt. Kenya, and although they got one back in the encounter. The script was already written a 2-1 win for the Visitors at the end of the 90th minute.

Mt. Kenya duo John Ndirangu and Puzzo Seif scored the two goals for the visitors to put the score out of reach.

The Wanderer’s were the better team for a long stretch in the first half, but the visitors did well to hold on and claim their second straight victory, while Wanderer’s, who sit rock bottom on the log, are still searching for their first win of the season.

The loss also marked three back-to-back defeats since the start of the season for the Wanderer’s. They now travel away to Migori Youth on Wednesday in the midweek NSL action fixture.
