Former Harambee Stars coach Sebastien Migne is back in Kenya from France where he had gone to sort out personal issues.
Mr Migne returned keen on making good his desire to settle in Kenya permanently.
Speaking to the People Daily on Thursday, he said that his wife had fallen in love with the country leading him to fall in love with it as well.
He expressed his sadness at having been fired as the national football team's head coach but assured that the move did not diminish his love for Kenya, saying that even if he gets another job elsewhere he will still return to Kenya.
“I have also fallen in with the country (Kenya) and I’m thinking of investing here as well. It is unfortunate that I could not continue to work as the national team coach but even if I get a coaching job elsewhere I will still come be back here, " he told the People Daily.
The final straw in the Frenchman's stint as Harambee Stars coach came after Kenya lost to the Taifa Stars of Tanzania in an African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier.
Football Federation of Kenya (FKF) said that the decision to relieve Migne of his duties was mutual.
Migne is credited with taking Kenya to the African Cup of Nations in Egypt after missing out for 15 years.
