Kisumu Governor Peter Anyang Nyong’o on Monday came ‘face to face’ with a section of netizens after he posted something about his wife Dorothy and daughter Lupita Nyong’o being feted by the Harlem School of the Arts. According to Nyong’o’s facebook post, the two will be feted on October 21, in New York, US.
“The prestigious Harlem School of the Arts (HSA) will on the 21st October 2019 honour Mama Kisumu Dorothy Nyong'o and her daughter the Oscar Award-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o with the Visionary Lineage Award at what has become the most anticipated ball of the fall season,” Nyong’o said.
A section of his followers reacted to the County Chief’s post, congratulating the two for the feat. Others trolled the governor for posting about his personal life yet the County’s health state is in a dire situation due to endless strikes occasioned by lack of pay for health workers.
