Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina has yet again questioned the criteria used when making state appointments in the country.
For the last one week, the ODM legislator, who has rubbished the Building Bridges Initiative report, has been accusing President Uhuru Kenyatta of skewed appointments.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Ole Kina insisted that in every three state appointments, two always come from the Mt Kenya region.
"The sad thing is that for every 3 appointments 2 are Kikuyus ... and they talk of inclusiveness? My foot! We must Resist! I long for the time when appointments will be made and a Kikuyu elite will not be in the list," he said.
He was responding to appointments made by KRA. David Wachira was named Director Corporate and Support Services, Dr Terra Saidimu Director Intelligence and Phares Kamau Internal Audit.
President Kenyatta's administration has been under pressure for making skewed appointments in the public service
Recently, President Kenyatta insisted the Building Bridges Initiative will fix the lack of inclusivity in successful governments. The report is yet to be implemented.
“Let us just take time to got through it together and to come out with good things that can make our country even better, more united and that make our institutions more inclusive,” Uhuru said.
