Political analyst Edward Kisiangani has opined that chances are high that former Prime Minister Raila Odinga will partner with Deputy President William Ruto in the future.

This comes at a time when the two are currently deemed the worst of enemies, due to their attacks and counter-attacks on each other, either directly or through their allies.

Kisiangani now says that Kenyans should not be shocked to see Raila humbling himself before the DP as he has always done after attacking his perceived enemies.

In a tweet on Sunday, the analyst said that just like Raila ended up joining Presidents Mwai Kibaki and Uhuru Kenyatta after fighting them, expecting him to join Ruto is not a far fetched idea.

He claimed that the ODM leader's current attacks on the DP are only aimed at neutralising him, after which he will even visit him (Ruto) at his Sugoi home.

According to the professor, most of Raila's allegations against the DP which revolve around corruption, are most likely made up with the intention of neutralising him.

"If Raila made false claims about Kibaki's victory in 2007, Uhuru's victory in 2013 and 2017, Waiguru's tenure at the Devolution Ministry, how can the same Raila be right about Ruto? Once Raila achieves his objective of neutralising Ruto he will swallow his own words and visit Sugoi," he wrote.

His remarks came only a day after Raila attended the wedding of Kirinyaga Governor Anne Mumbi, who he has been attacking.
