It is very rare for politicians to turn to social media platforms such as Facebook to shower praises to their spouses.
On Friday, Embakasi East MP Paul Ongili alias Babu Owino, however, took to social media to applaud his wife Fridah Ongili for what he termed as beauty and intelligence.
The youthful MP shared a section of short videos of his wife addressing a group of women in her capacity as the patron of table banking in Embakasi East, promising that he will never disappoint her.
“Good wife comes from God: As the patron of table banking at Embakasi East, my beautiful and intelligent wife Fridah Ongili met women groups to find out how they are doing. If there is one thing God blessed me with is a perfect wife. You are everything I need my lovely wife and I will never disappoint you,” said Babu Owino.
In one of the videos Frdah is heard encouraging women to embrace table banking for economic empowerment.
“We want to reach a place where table banking helps us to build houses,” she is heard saying.
Babu and Fridah have been blessed with two children.
The youthful legislator is serving his first term as MP after being elected in 2017 on an ODM party ticket.
