Speaking during JKLive Show on Wednesday night, Mutua asked McCarter to stop accusing Kenyans of various issues affecting the country.

"Those who live in glass houses should be careful when they throw stones; a person who is appointed by @realDonaldTrump to be his envoy to Kenya does not have a lot of moral ground to point fingers at Kenyans," he said in as tweeted by Citizen Tv.

Mutua further claimed that ambassador McCarter attacks thieves in the country when "He is a product himself of an administration that is extremely corrupt, that has no regards for the rule of law, that is acting with impunity in the United States doing things that we have never seen in our lifetime in the United States."

During the Madaraka Day celebrations, the US ambassador hit out at corrupt leaders with a "thievery" tweet that caused a storm in the country.

That was not the first time the envoy vowed to help President Uhuru Kenyatta in the fight against corruption in the country. He has on various occasions assured that corrupt leaders must be dealt with according to the law.
