Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria has been bashed for claiming that the Jubilee Party is yet to convene a meeting to deliberate on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
The MP on Thursday said that the party's members remain in the dark about some details of the BBI, founded by the party leader President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
He lamented that no party meeting has been held in Jubilee for that purpose, stating that party members are being treated to a situation where they have to learn on their own.
"Until now, the issue of what BBI was about is a white cane mentality. We have never had a meeting to approve this issue," Moses Kuria said in an interview on KTN.
However, the remarks were met by criticism from ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna and Kakamega Senator Cleopas Malala, who told him to take his complains to Uhuru.
Malala faulted Kuria for trying to pull ODM into Jubilee's troubles, by trying to insinuate that ODM is also yet to hold a meeting.
"That is your problem. Do not transfer your frustrations to ODM," he said.
Sifuna said that ODM has had enough meetings to discuss the issue and will be sharing its details with Kenyans and other leaders from the Jubilee side who are interested.
