A top aide to Deputy President William Ruto has taken a swipe at political analyst Prof Herman Manyora over the Monday's retreat in Naivasha.
Over 140 MPs allied to Dr. Ruto held a meeting in Naivasha where they came up with a host of strategies over the BBI meeting.
But Many had faulted the move as an "act of desperation" arguing that the MPs are not conversant with Jubilee party rules.
He said : "It was an act of desperation. These same MPs have been pushing for Parliamentary Group through backdoor."
But Emmanuel Talam, the Deputy Director of Communication in Ruto's office, dismissed Manyora's assertions, arguing that he's joined activism.
"My good lecturer was beginning to look like an analyst but he's gone back to activism and political bidding. He's better as a lecturer @kipmurkomen @HManyora @OleItumbi," he said.
Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju on Monday dismissed the meeting as private, insisting that it had nothing to do with the ruling party.
President Uhuru Kenyatta's party has struggled to forge common course in the past couple of months, but the party seems divided into two major factions.
