Citizen TV news anchor Lulu Hassan has advised husbands to take good care of their wives citing that grass is green where it is watered.
According to Lulu, husbands should work on their women and not go for other women elsewhere. She added that although every man can admire a beautiful woman, it's upon a true gentleman to make a woman admirable and beautiful.
"Husbands: Don't stand idly while your wife is being attacked, threatened, terrorised or dehumanised by your relatives. Your wife left her family and friends to be with you. Your wife is now your closest relative. She is now one with you. If you can't defend her, then who will? If you can't support her, then who will?" Lulu posed a question to men on her Facebook page.
Lulu who is married to her co-worker, Rashid Abdalla informed married men to remember their wives are called by their names. This therefore means whoever attacks his wife is directly attacking him.
This comes barely hours after Uasin Gishu Woman Representative Gladys Boss Shollei completed divorcing her husband Sam Shollei. Sam, later married a lady from Chepkorio in Elgeyo Marakwet identified as Faith Rono. It is not clear what caused the couple to separate.
