Jubilee Majority Whip Benjamin Washiali on Monday narrated his ordeal in Kibra, which saw him survive violence purportedly orchestrated by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) goons.
The Mumias East MP said he only survived by the mercy of God, claiming that the goons were huge, 'and cannot be compared with any human being'.
Mr Washiali was one of the Jubilee MPs flushed from Kibra on allegations that he was bribing voters in favour of McDonald Mariga.
According to Washiali, police officers stationed in Kibra were too frank, saying that they would only guard ballot papers.
"The police officers who were there said their responsibilities were to guard ballot boxes and papers. So us, we were at the mercy of God," said Washiali in a post shared by Ford Kenya National Youth Leader Aggrey Nalianya.
"In fact, we were lucky that we survived. The thugs who were there, there is no one here who matches them," he added.
The ODM party on Sunday dismissed links to the alleged intimidations and violence, arguing that Deputy President William Ruto's team engineered it.
Dagoretti North MP Simba Arati who has been linked to the violence, on Monday dared Jubilee team to attack him in his countrywide tours.
"To Didmus Barasa and his ally Mr Sudi, Bungoma is my mother's land. I will set feet there anytime, any day and anywhere to see what Didmus Barasa will do. I will also have a political rally in Eldoret and Sudi will do nothing," said Arati.
