Kibra MP Benard Okoth has revealed that top students in Kibra constituency in the just-released 2019 KCSE results are beneficiaries of Elimu Bora initiative which was started by his office.

In a post in his official Facebook page, the lawmaker lauded all candidates who posted impressive results in the examinations including Siele Chelang'at of Moi Forces Academy Lanet who emerged position nine nationally.

Imran revealed that Chelang'at was the beneficiary of Kibra constituency Elimu Bora initiative scholarships.

Other students who were beneficiaries of the Elimu Bora initiative and were among those who excelled in the examinations include Chelsea Achieng' and Vennessa Njeri Njoroge.

"Congratulations to all the candidates from Kibra who sat for the KCSE Exam this year. You have made us all proud. I would especially like to congratulate Siele Chelang’at, a beneficiary of the Kibra NG-CDF Scholarship program who has taken position 9 nationally with an A. I would also like to congratulate two other Kibra NG-CDF Scholarship beneficiaries, Chelsea Achieng’ and Vanessa Njeri Njoroge, who scored straight As in the exam," read part of the post.

All the aforementioned students scored straight As in the examinations that were released by Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha on Wednesday.

The newly elected Kibra MP Ken Okoth founded Elimu Bora initiative when he got into office in November. The aim of the program is to promote education and infrastructural development in Kibra constituency.
