Deputy President William Ruto should learn to accept his failures as he prepares for a battle in President Uhuru Kenyatta's succession.
Dr Ruto has been going ballistic against his opponents, more often accusing them of a witch-hunt and unnecessary political campaigns.
Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina now says Ruto, who has often hailed Jubilee administration's development record, should accept his failures.
"@WilliamsRuto it’s not a crime to accept your failures! “It’s fine to celebrate success but it is more important to heed the lessons of failure” your term has been full of mikakati," he said.
The DP has been going offensive against his critics, more recently accusing them of reviving International Criminal Court cases.
"I had a conversation with the NIS director last year and as we speak, some characters have sent people to Kenya to revive the ICC case. But I want to categorically tell them they will not succeed. In fact, it will be a big surprise to them," Ruto said.
Ruto was acquitted in 2015 jointly with President Uhuru Kenyatta, who was also accused of mass murder by the court.
Dr Ruto is currently facing resistance from a section of Jubilee leaders, who accuse him of undermining President Uhuru Kenyatta.
