The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is on the trail of a woman said to have drugged customers in drinking joints in Nairobi county.
Sharing her photo on Twitter, the DCI said that a warrant of her arrest has already been issued by the Milimani Chief Magistrate's Court.
The woman has been identified as Evelyn Wambui Mutura.
Court summons had been issued to her but she has failed to show up, leading to the DCI to circulate her picture, hoping that she will be brought to book.
"Ms Evelyn Wambui Mutura whose photograph appears below is #WANTED by @DCI_Kenya based at Nairobi Area for failing to honor court summons," the law enforcement agency tweeted.
"The accused was arraigned for drugging patrons in bars and other social places within Nairobi region and has a warrant of arrest issued by the Chief Magistrate’s Court Milimani," the DCI wrote in another post on Twitter on Friday.
It was not clear from the DCI post the exact social joints where the suspect committed her crimes.
There have been cases of customers in social places having their drinks spiked only to regain consciousness and find out that they have been stolen from.
