Deputy President William Ruto has reiterated that he has no problem with the Building Bridges Initiative ( BBI) as suggested by some of his critics.
Speaking during an interview with NTV on Tuesday, Ruto said that he is fully behind the report, adding that he is tired of sideshows from the opposition.
The second in command argued that he is ready for the implementation of the report regardless of the route that the leaders will agree. He reminded the critics that he is prepared to support any changes they want as long as they are geared to change the lives of the people and not fight to gain political mileage.
"We don't have a problem with BBI as was released in Bomas. We all agree that if there is need we can agree on the implementation matrix. If there is need to enrich, we can all enrich together by listening to one another. If there is need to change the constitution let's change the constitution if there is need for a referendum, let us have a referundum and let us proceed as a Nation", he said in part
Before the interview, Ruto had said that the meetings organized by those supporting the report are a waste of taxpayers money. His allies on Tuesday vowed to attend all the meetings organized to popularize the report. They, however, warned the opposition against insulting the DP during the forums.
