Through various supporting documents shared with Hivisasa on Monday, Thuo narrated how the suspect he identified as Peter Sakwa Chabeda approached him three years ago resulting in his current misery.

According to Thuo, Sakwa a film production manager and who owns Serengeti Studios company reached him with information that he had acquired the rights from Longhorn publishers to publish a book into other formats.

The formats in question were animations and gaming like PlayStation and Xbox.

"He shared the projections of what the game would garner financially over a period of three years. I thought it was a good proposal and I agreed to invest in the project which was called 'Ishaka Son of Gods'," he noted.

The two signed a mutual agreement and thereafter registered a company named 'Ishaka Limited'. The shareholders were Sakwa, Cassim Jirvaj, Tsanisha Joyce and Thuo who then invested the amount now in question.

He was to invest up to Sh6 million, an investment meant to produce what Thou said was a prototype of either PS4 or Xbox.

However, Sakwa, now the suspect in the case, produced only a layout, drawings and storyboard after two years despite having received Sh4.5 million from him.

"I reached out to Sakwa and told him I wanted to exit the company and needed my money back which he agreed. He wrote a letter to me through his lawyer acknowledging that he owed me money with a promise to pay in two instalments," Thuo noted.

Up to date, he is yet to receive the payments.

Sakwa was arrested on Friday and booked at Lang'ata Police Station under OB number 19/20/8/2019.
