The former Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant Miguna Miguna on Wednesday blasted American- based professor of Law Makau Mutua after his show on JK Live.
In a tweet moments after the show, Miguna attacked Mutua over his sentiments on an assassination plot.
"For someone who actually studied law even though he has never practiced it, Makau Mutua's unrefined hypothesis on conspiracies to commit murder resembles a dictator's toolbox: He posits that for an assassination plot to exist or be believed, the victim of the plot must die, first," he said.
During the show, Makau Mutua spoke about the alleged plot to assassinate Deputy President William Ruto. He rubbished off the assassination claims as fake.
Ruto's alleged assassination plot started after some Mt Kenya leaders held a secret meeting at La Mada, in which rumors say were discussing to kill DP Ruto.
So far, only the State House Secretary of Digital Innovations and Diaspora Communications Dennis Itumbi, who works at DP Ruto's office was arrested last week.
He was released on Wednesday on a Sh100,000 cash bail after the Prosecution failed to provide evidence that they had recorded statements from the 256 Whatssap group members he shared the alleged assassination with.
More so, Mr Itumbi, during a court session had claimed that he has the video and audio of the meeting which shows that the Mt Kenya leaders were actually discussing the matter in question.
