Former Ndhiwa MP Agostinho Neto and Ms Chelagat Torome are the interim United Green Movement (UGM) co-party leaders.

This is according to a list of interim leaders released by the party during a National Executive Council meeting held in Narok.

Abdullahi Diriye from Wajir County is the co-chair, while Secretary-Generals will be; Hamissa Zaja and John Waiganjo.

Ms Mary Otara and Alex Mwendwa will be the co-treasurers for the party, while Peter Odima, Florence Aluodo, and Anna Kina Nyambu will hold the position of co-organizing secretaries.

Ms Kellan Khaoma and Ms Priscillar Mungah are the national women leaders. 

The national youth docket will be handled by Sialo Tasur and Kipngeno Rono, while director of elections will be Silvance Osele.

Director of Communications and publicity for the UGM party will be Joyce Kabue.

Erick Ogada, who unsuccessfully contested the Nakuru Town West parliamentary seat in 2017, will be the Director Grassroots democracy.

Addressing the media at a past interview, Ogada said UGM aims to bring change in the political arena through its principles and values which include; grass root democracy, ecological wisdom, social justice and equal opportunity, community based economics, non-violence, feminism, and respect for diversity. 

“We have had problems in our political parties and that is why we came up with UGM to try and treat some of the problems,” he said.
