Wednesday evening marks a crucial moment for all five remaining contestants in Ms President Reality TV show race when they meet for a 'Presidential debate'.
The debate will see the five ladies from different parts of the country take on each other at KTN home where moderators are expected to ask them questions mostly on leadership.
Canadian government and the European Union are sponsoring the competition with the winner expected to have the two institutions working on a mega project in their county of origin.
On Wednesday, Irene Mayaka, a nominated ODM MCA in Nyamira, said she's confident and was ready to do her best in the debate which will be televised.
"I am going on with the preparations and I am confident that all is well. I am ready to do my best in the debate," she said in a text.
At Nyamira, a host of young leaders led by ODM Youth Leader Dennis Marube, continued with campaigns across the county, hoping that Ms Mayaka will win the popular vote.
"We are not relaxing until we bag the majority votes. We have reached several people and the response is just okay. We are hopeful that she will win," he said.
The competition targets to encourage more women to participate in electoral competitions in a rather patriarchal society.
The winner shall be announced on July 31st with judges expected to take into consideration a number of issues among them popular votes garnered.
Others in the race include Umelkher Mohammed, Aketch Omondi, Betty Adera and Waruguru Kiai who hails from Nyeri Town constituency.
