Almost a year since they took oath of office, forty-nine legislators are yet to make their maiden speech in parliament, reports online paper, Mzalendo.com.
Investigations done by the paper indicates that those who may have spoken, only supported points raised by their colleagues but have never initiated debates.
Speaker Justin Muturi said: "Many will get out soon as I step out of the chair and retreat when the committee of the whole house is in session."
"Yet, they will be the loudest out there telling their constituents about a law they never participated in legislating," added Muturi.
