Led by their MCA Peter Chomba they said they will not allow whatsoever parts of his ward to be taken to another ward.

“We are bitter with the county government boundary review how can you take Huruma estate, West Indies, Wholesale and retail market, Moi street which was initially in Huruma ward to Kipkenyo ward. This is uncalled for,” said the Huruma Ward MCA.

Chomba who spoke to the press in Eldoret town on Friday wondered why the boundary review was done without public participation reading malice in the whole process.

He reiterated that Kipchoge Stadium, Railway Station and farmers street has been given to Huruma ward according to the proposed County new map.

“As residents of Huruma Ward we will not allow the boundaries to be touched come rain come sunshine since boundary review are only reviewed by IEBC and not county government,” added the Jubilee Party Huruma MCA.

Chomba called on the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) to investigate the maps which have been used in the World Bank projects in Uasin Gishu since the funds have been channelled to wrong wards due to the review of the boundaries.

Huruma Ward is the most populated Ward in Uasin Gishu County and has the highest number of registered voters.
