Kenyan R&B singer Otile Brown has rubbished off claims that he intentionally hit a boda boda rider in Kibera with his car.
Taking to his Instagram account on Monday, the 'Kenyan Girl' hitmaker pointed out that it was not an intentional crash but an accident.
With allegations that he had left the rider and his customers without attendance after injuring them, Otile has also refuted those claims, but rather noted that he took the rider and the two passengers to the hospital.
''To my dear fans, family, friends, and supporters, my team and I would like to officially acknowledge the accident I had on Wednesday the 20th of November 2019 around Yaya Centre involving my car with a boda boda carrying 2 passengers. My team and I took the injured persons to the hospital and made sure they received the needed necessary treatment and we catered for the resulting bills,'' said Otile Brown.
The singer seized this moment to thank all those who checked on him after the accident.
On his Instagram account, he also posted a video of the new motorbike he had purchased for the injured boda boda rider.
He further added that he would like the man to continue providing for his family even after the accident after his motorbike was damaged.
His statements come after area residents had accused him of intentionally causing the accident which almost caused the death of the boda bioda rider.
