The two appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate H. M Nyaberi, who heard that that Mr Ombok is a Director of Bifao and SGMA agency.

On the other hand, Mr Owino holds the same position in Janto Constructions Limited, Sunae Limited and Migwish Enterprise Limited.

The court heard that the companies were suppliers of the Migori County Government, but have not been paying taxes from 2013 and 2017 despite receiving payment from the county.
