Kenya Premier League (KPL) money heavyweights, Wazito FC have completed the signing of Togolese Central Defender, Esouf Bourhana from the Ethiopian giants, St. Georges Sports Club.
This is after the Togolese defender had a two months stint training with the team in Nairobi.
Bourhana will replace the injured Kenya defender, Bernard Ochieng who has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
“I am happy to join an ambitious team like Wazito FC. The team has set high targets and I want to part of this exciting project. I know that we have very good players in the team and I will have to work very hard in training to be among the starters," Esouf said as quote on Wazito's official website.
Esouf joins the growing list of Wazito's latest signings tallying to fifth so far, having acquired the services of Dennis Sikhayi, Whyvonne Isuza, Dennis Ng’ang’a and Kennedy Owino.
Elsewhere, Western Stima has axed three players and signed another three as it bolsters its squad for the second leg of the Kenya Premier League.
Vincent Omuombo, Erastus Mwaniki and Henry Juma have parted ways with Stima.
While Kakamega Homeboyz Festus Mukoto and former Sony Sugar duo of Steven Onyango and Kevin Omundi, have joined Western Stima in an effort to strengthen the team. Stima FC will play against Mathare United on Wednesday in the KPL mid-week clash, at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
"The players have impressed me, and I believe they will add competition and depth to the team" Western Stima coach Sali Babu told the Star.
