“I was in a meeting at Eldoret Vocational Training Center to nominate board members that is when the goons stormed in the meeting insisting that they have been left out in the nominations. They started beating me up,” said the Kipkenyo MCA.
He reiterated that he suffered injuries on the head, shoulders, and legs after the attack.
“David Kimeli Letting whom I beat during the 2017 polls has been threatening my life since the polls. He is now going around saying there will be a by-election in March 2020 after my demise,” said the MCA who won the seat as an independent candidate.
He called on the police and relevant national and county government authorities to take actions against the accused and all his goons that he uses to threaten locals because they are known.
Kapseret Sub County Police Commander Francis Warui confirmed that the MCA had recorded a statement at the Yamumbi Police Station.
He said investigations into the incident has been launched to know what transpired and all those who were involved will be arrested and charged.
