Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi on Thursday pledged to give a man who works as a security guard Sh1 million to venture into self employment.
Abdullahi stumbled upon the man, whose name he did not disclose, when he was leaving his work station in Lavington heading to his residence which is near Lenana School.
The lawyer gave the man a lift in his car, and as they were traveling they got into a conversation to a point he opened up about his life and the hardships he was going through.
He earns Sh12, 000 per month and walks for 15 kilometres to and from work on daily basis. He has a wife and two kids whom he is very proud of.
"I buy every book the school asks my kids to get" the man told Abdullahi who confesses to have shed tears when he was told their story.
When he alighted the lawyer says he gave him some money and requested he visits him at his office next month while accompanied by his wife.
"To pleasantly surprise him and his wife when they come to see me on 15th...from my clients, friends and myself I will give him and his wife Kshs 1 million to start some small biashara...I know we have millions like him but who said Allah can't help his servant through another one?" Abdullahi posed.
The post attracted mixed reactions from tweeps, with some lauding the lawyer for his kindness and others slamming him for 'broadcasting' his generosity.
