Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday joined other mourners to say goodbye to the former Nyaribari Masaba MP Dr Hezron Manduku.
Manduku died at The Nairobi hospital where he was receiving treatment on the night of Saturday, 10th August 2019.
Raila addressing mourners said Dr. Manduku was a great man whose death came as a big shock not only to his family but to the entire country.
"The country has lost an important person who was determined to serve people passionately. He will be missed by not only his family members but also the rest of Kenyans," said the ODM Party leader.
The former Presidential hopeful added; "It is my prayer that the almighty God will provide comfort for Dr Manduku's widow Mama Florence Moraa and the entire family during this trying moments."
Raila was received by Kisii Governor James Ongwae who is serving his second and last term in office.
Among other leaders who attended the burial include, Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i, Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i, Kitutu Chache South MP Richard Onyonka, Kisii Senator Sam Ongeri, Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama, Kisii Deputy Governor Joash Maangi and Kisii woman rep Janet Ong'era among others.
