Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wah has sensationally claimed that Jubilee Secretary General Raphael Tuju serves the interest of the ODM leader Raila Odinga.
The Cabinet Secretary without portfolio has often been seen with ODM leaders, a move that irks Jubilee team that is leaning towards DP William Ruto.
At Runyenjes on Saturday, Mr Ichung'wah claimed that Tuju has not been supporting McDonald Mariga, the Jubilee candidate in Kibra by-election despite President Uhuru Kenyatta supporting him.
The second term MP said Tuju has been working with Mr Odinga to wreck Jubilee party from within. He challenged him to quit the Jubilee without necessarily being kicked out.
"As Jubilee team, we remain unshakable. Those few who move up and down at night to support opponents thinking that we don't know, you're on the radar.
"I want to tell Tuju, it's time you decide whether you'll be loyal to our leadership or you go and serve the interests of ODM. You must be loyal to the party which nominated you," he said.
During the function, DP William Ruto accused Odinga of plotting fallout in Jubilee, but insisted that he won't succeed in the long run.
Previously, Tuju has defended his association with the ODM party, arguing that his approach is anchored in the spirit of handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga.
“I work for the President and Jubilee Party, but my association with ODM is as a result of the handshake between the President and Mr Odinga, because in this arrangement, ODM is the interlocutor,” said Mr Tuju.
“For that reason, even Sifuna (Edwin) himself, we talk so I have no problems with him. We call each other on issues of mutual interest and agree,” he added
On Wednesday, Tuju in the company of Deputy President William Ruto, presented Mr Mariga at State House where President Uhuru Kenyatta publicly endorsed him.
