The Pope prayed for the President and the entire nation while on his way back to Rome after a three-day visit in Mozambique, Mauritius, and Madagascar. The message was recorded by Kenya's Air Traffic Control (ATC) before it was delivered to the nation by State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena. "Upon all of you, I invoke blessings of peace and well-being," Pope Francis said.Pope, who landed in Maputo, Mozambique on 4th September for a 5-day apostolic tour of sub-Saharan Africa, spend tow of the first days of his journey in the nation before he departed for Madagascar and then left for Mauritius. Kenya has close ties with the papacy. Francis visited the country in 2015 where he wished all Kenyans the best of luck in everything they undertake. President Uhuru Kenyatta thanked the Pope after his visit and promised to follow the right path in leading the nation to prosperity.
