Amani National Congress (ANC) party leader Musalia Mudavadi has insisted that he has what it takes to rise to power.
While responding to questions from the public on Sunday, Musalia said that he wants to bring change in this country upon his election into the presidency.
He said that he stands a better chance to rise to power when that time comes.
Mudavadi also said that he wants to ensure there is transparency in the leadership of this nation.
The former Vice President further said that he wants to ensure there is merit in government.
“I want to bring the rule of law, honesty, and truth in leadership. I want to bring merit and fairness in the management of government business. Ours is going to be a meritocracy. People will be where they are because of merit and nothing more, “he said in response, as Daily Nation.
Mudavadi has been asking leaders from different parts of Kenya to back his presidential candidature for 2022 elections.
He is expecting the endorsement of the former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta as he plans to lock horns with Deputy President William Ruto in the race for the presidency.
