You might be consuming to much salt unknowingly, which might dump you into a pool of health problems

The following are some clear signs of which indicate you’re eating too much salt.

1. Frequent urination

 Feeling a frequent urge to urinate is associated to a number of health issues including UTI,  type 2 diabetes among others, it might also be an indicator that your salt update is too much, which leads to drinking a lot of water.

2. Feeling too much thirst

Excessive thirst is due to excess salt into your body. When the salt level goes beyond the required amount, the body systems will require more fluids to dilute extra salt for the proper functioning of the muscles and other organs, which leads to excessive thirst.

3. Swelling, and especially in strange places

 Too much sodium leads to swelling of extra fluid in your body’s tissues, a condition called oedema. While oedema might happen due to other health issues, excess salt in the body is said to be one of its cause.

4. Repeated mild headaches

Sometimes you might be curing your frequent mild headaches with just drinking a bottle of water, do you know why? It is because you are curing dehydration-induced by salt into your system.

5. Overuse of table salt

How often do you turn to your salt shaker during meals time? If you do that three times a day there are higher chances you salt intake is too high.
