There was chaos at Gitui Catholic Church in Murang’a County on Sunday when two leaders clashed.
The two leaders, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro and nominated MP Maina Kamanda disagreed on who should invite other leaders to speak at the church.
The two leaders affiliated to Kieleweke and Tanga-tanga camps disagreement interrupted the church proceedings to solve their dispute.
This is not the first time leaders supporting Deputy President William Ruto and those in support of President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leaders Raila Odinga's handshake have crossed paths in a public.
These two sides have been struggling to show the other side who are the big wigs in the Kenyan political field.
More clashes between leaders from the two sides have been arising because of the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
DP Ruto and leaders in his camp doesn't support the BBI, despite pledges his support for the head of states.
With the political wave aimed at the 2022 succession politics, leaders from these two have continue to fight each other in many ways and in any place.
Unless something is done, leaders affiliated to Kieleweke and Tangatanga camps will continue to fight even in places they are not supposed to, such as churches, and at important functions that doesn't need politics.
