Five more suspects have been arrested following the abduction of pastor Esther Oyugi from her Bokeire village, Kisii County.
Kisii County police commander Hassan Abdi said that the suspects will be arraigned in court on Monday.
"We have arrested five more suspects who will be arraigned in court on Monday, we shall not sit down and rest until all they produce the woman," said Mr Abdi.
Mr Abdi said that already the five suspects are out on bond of Sh 200,000 each.
Ms Oyugi was abducted from her home one month ago by unknown men and it is alleged it happened because she refused to sell a piece of land to them.
Mr Abdi asked residents to maintain peace and be patient.
He also asked anyone with information that can lead to the whereabouts of the woman to inform the police.
Last week Interior Cabinet Secretary asked police in the area to ensure that they arrest the people behind the disappearance of the pastor.
