Two people died while five others were injured along Langata Road in an accident that involved two private cars.

According to police reports, the two vehicles were driving in the same direction at the time the accident occurred near Carnivore restaurant on Friday.

"One of the cars was carrying eight passengers and the driver lost its control before he hit the other car and rolled into a ditch," Police said as quoted by the Star.

In a different incident, two died in Kayole in a road accident on Thursday while another one perished along the Eastern by-pass.
